The Loudoun Knights are pleased to announce the coaching staff for the 14U AA National Team for the 23/24 season!

Mike O'Brien (Head Coach), Smith Sanders (Associate Head Coach) and Craig Desjarlais (Assistant Coach) will lead what's expected to be a very talented team as they push towards the club's first USA Hockey Nationals berth.

This deeply experienced coaching staff will offer the players a well rounded perspective. Coach O'Brien will lead in the overall planning and structure of the team. Coach Sanders will be a strong presence in practice and on the bench during games running the defense, and Coach Desjarlais will focus primarily on team and individual player development in practice. This group of coaches will push the players out of their comfort zone and raise their level of expectations to be the best player and teammate they can be!

"It's exciting to think about the possibilities of what this team can accomplish next season if they are willing to put in the work", says Loudoun Knights Hockey Director, and 14U AA Assitant Coach, Craig Desjarlais. "This core group has experienced a lot of success, but also suffered some painful setbacks which will only make them stronger and more driven going into this National Bound season. On a personal note, I'm excited to work alongside and learn from two amazing coaches that have been so passionate and dedicated to the Knights organization."

The 14U AA Team will compete in the CBHL (National Conference) and the EJEPL (Diamond Division).
