The Loudoun Knights are excited to announce Jeremiah Hazzard will be the head coach for the 10U AA team for the 22/23 season!

Jeremiah Hazzard was born and raised in Kitchener Ontario, Canada and is a product of the very competitive Kitchener minor hockey program. After his youth playing career was completed, Jeremiah started coaching in the Kitchener organization with the Pee Wee (12U) program from 1997-2000 and has been involved in youth hockey ever since.

Jeremiah earned an engineering degree in fire protection and shortly thereafter he resumed coaching hockey in Northern Virginia in 2003. He was instrumental in developing and advancing numerous players and enjoyed success that saw his teams win multiple District and State Championships. In 2007 Jeremiah led his team to the elimination round at the USA Hockey National Championships in Buffalo, NY.

"Jeremiah is such an amazing asset to our organization", says Knights Hockey Director Craig Desjarlais. "During this 21/22 season, we saw the club grow and fortunately Coach Hazzard offered to coach two 10U teams to assure proper development of our grassroots players. Jeremiah has been coaching at Ion since their doors opened and I can't thank him enough for his continued dedication to this program, and we are excited to see him lead what we expect to be a very talented 10U AA team next season".

The 10U AA team will compete in the National Division of the CBHL and the Diamond Division of the EJEPL during the 22/23 season. Coach Hazzard is currently a USA Hockey Level 4 Coach. Jeremiah and his wife have two kids and have lived in Leesburg since 2012. Please welcome Jeremiah as our 10U AA Head Coach!
