Goal Scoring: 

• A specialized program designed to help players develop techniques, strategies, and improve their skills specifically related to scoring goals.
• Accuracy, power, quick release, scoring from different angles, deking, and breakaways.
• Includes an off ice component - activities focused on building strength, speed, and agility.
• Off-ice training can help enhance a player's physical attributes, which are essential for effective goal scoring.
• While the focus is on goal-scoring, we also emphasize the importance of enjoying the game and fostering camaraderie among participants.

Defense Camp:

• Specialized training program designed to develop the skills and abilities specific to players who play in the defense position in ice hockey.
• Focus on enhancing defensive skills, positioning, physicality, overall defensive awareness, stick-checking, body positioning, shot blocking, and defensive zone coverage.
• Players receive focused instruction and drills aimed at improving these fundamental skills necessary for success in the defense position.
• This camp includes off-ice training sessions focused on improving players' strength, speed, agility, and endurance.
• Off-ice conditioning helps defensemen develop the physical attributes necessary to withstand the demands of playing.

NOTE: ALL CAMPERS MUST WEAR FULL HOCKEY GEAR

We do not provide hockey gear for these camps.  Your player will need to provide the following items to be able to participate:

• Helmet with cage
• Pads (Shoulder, Elbow, Chest Protector, Shin Guards)
• Gloves
• Hockey Pants
• Skates 
• Bring your own stick

23 Hockey will not only teach the physical aspects of hockey, but will also focus on the mental training of the players. 23 Hockey students will develop relationships and build confidence to maximize their hockey experience. The concept was conceived by former professional hockey player and Leesburg, VA resident, Craig Desjarlais and features a professional staff with extensive backgrounds in hockey development. Desjarlais has designed a plan that provides young athletes with an all-encompassing model to improve their game. We look forward to working with you soon.
